A Legacy of Service: Filson Awankua's Journey in NPP

From student activism to regional leadership aspirant, Filson Awankua's journey in the NPP spans over two decades of dedicated service.

Filson Awankua's journey in the New Patriotic Party began in the mid-1990s as a youth leader and foundation member of the Kumi Pr3ko Demonstration in the Upper East Region. Since then, he has dedicated over two decades to serving the party at various levels.

His roles have included TESCON President at Cape Coast Polytechnic, Campaign Aide to Hon. Christine Churcher, NPP Finance Committee Chairman in Cape Coast, and Deputy National Organiser of FoB'08. Each position has contributed to his deep understanding of party organization and grassroots mobilization.

Now, as he seeks the position of Regional Chairman, Filson brings this wealth of experience to bear on his vision for a stronger, more united NPP in the Upper East Region.
